The project "Four Seasons in the Sky" revolves around observations of astronomical phenomena related to the seasons in various places in Europe. The activities are implemented in four main blocks: Autumn in the Sky, Winter in the Sky, Spring in the Sky and Summer in the Sky. The four blocks are the basis of specially designed project activities including astrophysics, astrochemistry, mathematics, ICT (with 3D programming and printing) and foreign language learning.
Project activities focus on observing the sky in various parts of Europe. In each of the places, the project assumes joint and individual observations of various astronomical phenomena typical for a given season from various places in Europe and performing various tasks both during partners' meetings and between them - while working at school. All astronomical observations take place at schools or local observatories as well as science centers and are documented and disseminated. Some of the observations are widely available to local communities. The project also includes visiting places of special scientific or cultural value (museums, science centers, archaeological monuments). Between the mobilities in the partner countries series of tasks related to new technologies (film making, presentations, 3D programming,) literature and other branches of sciences are performed.
